Verifying Medicaid Provider Status

All hospitals and clinics must be Medicaid providers. Qualified entities that are not hospitals or clinics are not required to be Medicaid providers. The status of a Medicaid provider is verified using the TPI number. The TPI numbers for the hospital, entity and any associated clinics must be provided in the Notice of Intent.
